Pipe Repair

Pipe repair for leaking, corroded, or loose supply lines, drain lines, and fixture connections.

Call (850) 880-6797

A damaged pipe section may show up as a drip, corrosion, staining, movement, noise, or damp around a fitting. Fixing it early keeps a small leak from soaking into cabinets, walls, or floors.

When to request pipe repair

People usually call about corrosion at a joint, a visible drip, a pipe that bangs or rattles, or movement at a pipe connection.

If water or sewage is spreading, call (850) 880-6797 now instead of sending a request. If you smell gas, leave the building and call 911 or the gas utility from outside first, then call Beach to Bayou.

What the service visit can cover

The technician identifies the pipe material, finds the failed joint or section, and works out how to reach it for a repair that lasts. Mixed materials, old patches, and a shutoff that will not close can all change the work.

The final scope depends on what the technician finds and what can be reached, and you hear the options before any work starts.

Planning for Emerald Coast properties

Pipe in attics, garages, and outside walls takes humidity and salt air, and a second home can sit empty long enough for a small leak to do real damage. Galvanized, polybutylene, and early CPVC supply lines all still turn up in homes here.

If the property is a rental, a second home, or an open business, include who can let the technician in and when.

What to include in your request

When you call or send a request, mention where the pipe is, what it is made of if you know, how fast it is leaking, nearby fixtures, earlier repairs, and whether the shutoff works.

Before the visit, and only where it is safe to do so, clear a path to the problem area, put pets away, and leave the plumbing assembled until the technician has seen it.

What to expect

Matched to the pipe

The repair is matched to the pipe and fittings already there.

Connection repair

Loose, worn, or failed fittings are repaired or replaced.

Section replacement

Damaged pipe is cut out and replaced when a patch will not hold.

Shutoff check

Nearby shutoff valves are checked as part of the repair.

Common questions

Can you repair one section without repiping the property?

Often, yes. It depends on the condition of the pipe, whether the materials work together, how it can be reached, and whether this is the first failure or one of many.

Why do my pipes bang or rattle?

A bang when a faucet, toilet, or washing machine shuts off is usually water hammer from a fast-closing valve. Rattling while water runs usually means a loose pipe strap or high pressure. Note when and where you hear it.

Should corroded fittings be replaced before they leak?

Often, yes. Green or white crust on a fitting usually means it is already weeping, and a corroded shutoff may not close when you need it. Have it looked at before it drips.

Do you provide pipe repair near Freeport and the Emerald Coast?

Yes. Beach to Bayou Plumbing works in Freeport, Santa Rosa Beach, 30A, Panama City Beach, Miramar Beach, Destin, and nearby communities in Walton, Okaloosa, and Bay counties. Put the city in your request, or call, and the office will confirm coverage.
