Water Pressure Services

Water pressure diagnosis for weak flow, pressure spikes, one weak fixture, or a drop across the whole property.

Call (850) 880-6797

Low pressure at one fixture can have a different cause than low pressure throughout a property. High or fluctuating pressure can also strain supply lines, valves, appliances, and fixtures.

When to request water pressure services

People usually call about weak flow throughout the property, one low-flow fixture, pressure surges, or flow loss when two fixtures run.

If water or sewage is spreading, call (850) 880-6797 now instead of sending a request. If you smell gas, leave the building and call 911 or the gas utility from outside first, then call Beach to Bayou.

What the service visit can cover

The technician checks the pressure, compares the affected fixtures, and looks at the shutoffs, the pressure regulator, and any filters or softeners to find out whether the problem is at one fixture or the whole property.

The final scope depends on what the technician finds and what can be reached, and you hear the options before any work starts.

Planning for Emerald Coast properties

Irrigation running, a full rental in peak season, water softeners or filters, older service lines, and corroded fittings can all cut flow.

If the property is a rental, a second home, or an open business, include who can let the technician in and when.

What to include in your request

When you call or send a request, mention which fixtures are affected, whether hot and cold differ, whether it changes by time of day, recent utility or plumbing work, any filter or softener, and a pressure reading if you have one.

Before the visit, and only where it is safe to do so, clear a path to the problem area, put pets away, and leave the plumbing assembled until the technician has seen it.

What to expect

One fixture or all

The technician checks whether one fixture or the whole property is affected.

Regulator and shutoffs

The pressure-reducing valve and the shutoffs are checked.

Supply restrictions

Clogged filters, partly closed valves, and corroded pipe are checked.

Demand patterns

Running two fixtures at once shows whether the pipes can keep up or something is restricting flow.

Common questions

Why is pressure low at only one faucet?

A clogged aerator or cartridge, a partly closed shutoff, a kinked supply line, or a worn part inside the fixture can choke one faucet while the rest of the property is normal.

Can high water pressure damage plumbing?

Sustained high pressure can stress valves, supply lines, appliances, and fixtures. A pressure test shows whether the property needs a pressure-reducing valve or the existing one has failed.

Why does pressure drop when another fixture turns on?

Pipes that are too small, a partial blockage, a worn regulator, or a limited supply can all show up when two fixtures run at once. Note which combinations cause the drop.
